06:00 a.m.: Iniciamos nuestro tour con el recojo de los pasajeros.
Partimos rumbo a la población de Rinconada, aproximadamente a 2 horas de viaje.
08:20 a.m.: Llegada a la comunidad de Rinconada.
Iniciamos nuestra caminata hasta la Laguna Chiarkota.
10:00 a.m.: Llegada a la Laguna Chiarkota para disfrutar de la vista y tomar fotografías.
Ascenso al Pico Austria, que tomará aproximadamente 4 horas con descansos para apreciar las montañas.
Llegaremos a los 5,350 metros sobre el nivel del mar, con una vista espectacular.
Retorno a la Ciudad de La Paz. Arribamos a las 19:40 p.m.

Pico Austria is a unique place for acclimatization due to its classic walking routes. The altitude is 5,350 meters and it is located in the eastern range of the Andean mountains within the Tuni Condoriri National Park. You will also enjoy beautiful landscapes including the snow-capped Huayna Potosí mountains, Lake Titicaca, and various lagoons.

ITINERARY
06:30 - The travel agency will send a tour guide and driver to pick you up from your accommodation. Please wait in the hotel reception area. We will then travel from La Paz to Rinconada National Park, which takes about three hours. Along the way, enjoy the views of the mountains, high plateau, local houses, and typical animals such as llamas and alpacas. We are always near the mountains and the sky.
Upon arriving at the national park, we will pay the entry fee and provide information and recommendations for the tour.
The first part of the trek is relatively easy, with many typical bofedales (wetlands) and lagoons. We will trek for about one hour and then rest at Chiarkota Lagoon for a snack and water.
The second part is more challenging, as the path ascends. It is advisable to walk slowly and drink water regularly. The third part is lengthy but manageable, offering good viewpoints of the mountains. As we continue trekking, the final part is more strenuous, requiring short steps. We will reach the summit at 5,350 meters, which offers an amazing view. We will spend about one hour at the summit.
We will then descend from Pico Austria to Rinconada, which takes about two hours. Afterward, we will take transportation back to the hotel.
